The festival organizer was the public organization of disabled people "Kovcheg" and the Russian project for people with disabilities "One Country". The purpose of "School Day" is the integration of children with disabilities in sport and the recreation of the younger generation.
As part of the holidays the competitions in several sports held among the children of the orphanage. Children who did not hold in their hands the paralympic sports equipment got to know how to play боччу, table tennis, darts and other sports.
The event was attended by about 50 children with disabilities. All participants were awarded. The winners were awarded with medals and gifts.
Adults and experienced athletes with disabilities came there to support children with disabilities.
Vladimir Kartsev, a wheelchair user, a swimmer, a shooter, a twice champion of the Primorsky region in the billiards among the disabled people: "It was very pleasant to see a genuine interest of the children to the sport. I hope that our younger generation will be able to sport regularly, to try different kinds of sport and choose the most interesting one. I know how exciting is to win in various competitions, to win prizes. This makes your possibilities really limitless. "

This is very important because it is especially necessary in childhood to take a child to really interesting and useful things, which may become a thing of the whole life in the future. After several years these children can become Paralympic champions who will defend the honor of our country in the international competitions ".
