As part of the excursion low mobile citizens visited the hostel and built academic buildings, they checked the width of doorways, an ease of access ramps and toilet rooms in residential buildings. Also wheelchair users visited the embankment which was entirely suitable for the movement of wheelchairs.

It is noticed that there will be special rooms for low mobile citizens in the dorms. Unfortunately disabled didn’t manage to assess the comfort during this excursion because the repair was continuing there.

Artem Moiseenko, a chairman of the public organization of disabled persons 'Kovcheg', a coordinator of the project "One Country" in the Primorsky region: "The main purpose of our trip is to see if we can visit the Summit buildings during and after Summit. We were interested in whether wheelchair users would be able to study and live in DVFU as well as in modern developed institutes. The results of the excursion have pleased us; everything that was done for the disabled was world class and easy to use. Unfortunately we did not look habitable rooms for the disabled though we know that such facilities are provided in DVFU. Our next excursion held in spring will be for it. "

By the spring all living houses will be ready. Also according to employees of DVFU the campus will be equipped with a special walking area with tactile tile for visually impaired people. So the next trip to the island Russian the organization of Disabled People "Kovcheg" will make with representatives of the regional Association of the Blind.

Ivan Neklyudov, a wheelchair user from Ussuriisk, a student: "I would like to study in the new campus of DVFU with pleasure that’s why I went to this excursion with my own interest. I liked very much the fact that builders have provided the creation of barrier-free area inside buildings and outside one. This is a very important point because there are no such institutions in our country. That’s why wheelchair users can study only in absentia or at home. But there exists the problem of socialization of disabled people including the problem of higher education for disabled in our country. Studying in the new campus of DVFU you can solve both these problems."
